Privacy policy

Your work stays on your device
Saved atoms and workspaces, learning progress, bookmarks, and app preferences are stored locally. Moonshine does not send this information to the developer. If you choose to share or export something, you control where it goes. Your device or system backup service may keep copies according to your own settings.
The app does not require an account. It does not contain advertising or analytics SDKs, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.
Feedback is optional
When you choose Send feedback, the app sends your message, feedback type, app version, build number, and platform. It also sends a unique report ID, and the service records when it received the report. If you add an email address for a reply, that address is included. Saved workspaces, learning progress, and a device identifier are not included.
Reports are stored in a private database hosted by Cloudflare and emailed to the developer. The information is used to respond to requests, investigate bugs, correct chemistry content, and improve the app. It is not sold or used for advertising or tracking.
Cloudflare processes network information, including your IP address, to deliver and protect the service. The feedback service uses the IP address for rate limiting but does not store it in the report database. Its operational logs record report IDs and delivery attempts, not message text or reply addresses. Cloudflare describes its processing in its privacy policy.
Retention and deletion
Feedback reports and email correspondence are retained until the developer removes them. There is currently no automatic deletion schedule.
To request access, correction, or deletion, email moonshine.w80bn@simplelogin.fr. Include the reply address you supplied, if any, and enough detail to identify your report. Anonymous reports may be harder to identify. You may need to verify that a request relates to your information.
You can stop sending feedback at any time. Stopping a submission in the app does not delete a report the service has already received. Saved work can be removed through the app. To remove all local app data, use your platform's storage tools to remove the app and its associated data. Removing the app alone may leave data or backups, particularly on Mac.
This website and support email
The website does not add advertising, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies. Its hosting provider may process request information such as IP addresses and browser details to serve the pages and protect the service. If you follow a store link, Apple's privacy policy applies to that service.
If you email support, the developer receives your address and the information you send. SimpleLogin forwards messages sent to the public support address, and the developer's email provider stores the correspondence. These providers process information to deliver the support service.
Your choices
You can use Moonshine without sending feedback or providing an email address. Please avoid putting sensitive personal information in reports. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information. Contact the address above to make a request.
